Since The Crown rose to power on Netflix in November 2016, Peter Morgan’s fictionalised drama about the reign of Queen Elizabeth II has been one of the streaming service’s prized jewels, garnering numerous awards including more than 20 Primetime Emmys.

A changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace on November 9 welcomes Imelda Staunton and Jonathan Pryce as Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip for a dramatically licensed annus horribilis, which chooses Princess Diana’s headline-grabbing 1995 Panorama interview with Martin Bashir as a centrepiece of the eagerly anticipated fifth series.

How PA Media’s data findings were rewarded with industry peer recognition

PA Media were recently in attendance at the EANA – The European Alliance of News Agencies Awards held in Zurich, Switzerland, as part of the General Assembly and EANA Autumn Conference. At the event, PA were awarded the “Maxim Minchev” award for News Agency Quality. This was to recognise the work its Data and Insight team have done in the shape of its ongoing Data Analysis project.

Head of Analytics and Insight Steve Jones shares information around the project and how it came to be rewarded with industry peer recognition from PA’s fellow European news agencies.
