2020 has been a challenging year in so many ways. As what also seems like the longest year on record draws to a close, I wanted to round up some of the highlights from one of our newest services, Press Release Distribution.
This new service has grown by more than 125% this year despite the backdrop of Covid-19, with 20 new press release partners joining us and a huge upswing in the number of ad hoc releases sent out.
2020 held much promise for the world of sport with Euro 2020 and the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games seen as two standout events that would be enjoyed globally by sporting fans, both at home and in stadia.
The pandemic of course put stop to that, and we saw a wide cancellation of live sport and it was only in May when the Bundesliga showed us how sport could return albeit in a new, more safeguarded way.
The British Water Ski & Wakeboard Federation is a national governing body that has enjoyed success by using PA Media’s Press Release Distribution service. We take a look at some of the reasons behind them wanting their stories to enjoy more press exposure, the challenges they faced and what results a distribution partnership with PA Media achieved for them.
Cats Protection has enjoyed a real boost in the coverage and reach of its stories since working with PA Media and is a shining example of how working with us can really help a brand or business.
The charity uses both Mediapoint – our unrivalled news-monitoring solution – and Press Release Distribution to help get its news out to media organisations and journalists.
PA editor-in-chief Pete Clifton and myself were recently panellists on a couple of webinars to showcase our services for PR and communications professionals, but I feel there’s a real power in actually seeing how they really work for a customer – and to give you an idea of how they could work for you.
